Imagination Place is under renovation and expansion through spring 2027. There could be days when certain sections of the main children's museum are temporarily closed. Please excuse the dust as Imagination Place grows!

Hours of Operation
Closed from 1-2 pm each day for cleaning
Last visitors admitted 1 hour before each closing time (admissions end at noon and at 4 pm)
Admission
- Full day admission to Imagination Place is free for Hardin Center members and for children under 24 months
- $8 for all other children and adults
- Parents with a valid EBT card receive admission for up to 6 people (adults and children) for $2 per person. ID matching the card must be shown. EBT/WIC/SNAP cards from any state are accepted.
- An adult must accompany children at all times
By entering the facility, all visitors grant the Gadsden Cultural Arts Foundation, Inc. the right, but not the obligation, to photograph and film their likeness, as well as that of their minor children, for promotional purposes in any and all media now known or hereafter devised in perpetuity throughout the world.

We carried a 2 year old and 7 year old on the Friday after July 4th and it was not crowded. We used Groupon to get discounted admission. I think the most favorite area was the health clinic. We had to visit it several times. The big blue block room was another favorite!! Great ...
