Imagination Place Children's Museum operates under the auspices of the Gadsden Cultural Arts Foundation and enriches the lives of children by sparking creativity and imagination to build the foundation for a life of learning. The museum is commited to providing exhibits and activities in the arts and sciences that promote imagination, exploration and discovery. As a children's museum, Imagination Place provides interactive learning environments through participatory, hands-on exhibits and complementary educational programs to stimulate young minds. |

Since opening its doors in 1990, Imagination Place has responded to the crirical need for increased educational opportunities for young children. Operating year-round, the museum houses the educational staff that provides a safe, creative environment where children from two to ten can experience learning using not only the exhibits in Imagination Place but also all of the exhibits presented at the Hardin Center for Cultural Arts. The museum offers off site learning opportunities tha tmany teachers in norht east Alabama take advantage of. |

Imagination Place is always looking for volunteers to help out once a week in Imagination Place. Not only will you get a chance to spend time in the coolest Children’s Museum around, but your volunteer service can also help you earn points toward a free membership to the Center for Cultural Arts!
