10 Questions with:

Sara Allen

About Sara:
I am an 18-year-old musician. I live in a small community with no name. My passion for music began at a very early age. My mom has always said that I was born to be a percussionist. My life has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I have had a great life, better than most kids have, but it has had its ups and downs. I am now driving my third car and the overdrive is burnt out in it. Enough of that, you people want to hear about my music. I have been singing since I knew how to talk. Music is my life. My ambitions in life are to graduate from West End High, go to the University Of Alabama, and become a Music Therapist. I am dating a great guy and we have been together for a little over four months now, so sorry guys, I am taken. I guess that is about it for me.

1. How did your musical career begin?
I began playing the drums in 6th grade and also taught myself to play
the clarinet.

2. Who are your primary musical influences?
My great-grandmother Mary Fowler and my Uncle Duck - Howard Harper.

3. What do you like to listen to when you aren't playing your instrument?
Oldies

4. What are your hobbies outside of music?

5. What has been your greatest opportunity provided to you because of your musical talent?
Getting to travel to different places.

6. What are your favorite movies or television shows?
Son-In-Law; anything with Paulie Shore; Rugrats

8. What are your plans after high school?
I plan to attend college and become a music therapist.
